Kids MINISTRY WEEK 2019
Welcome to Kids Ministry Week (KMW). What is Kids Ministry Week? Well maybe it's easier to tell you what it is not. KMW is not a VBS program. It is not a daycare, or a babysitting program.
Kids Ministry Week is all about discipleship and pouring into the lives of the kids that come and join us that week. Our goal is to build lasting relationships with the kids so that we can better fulfill the Great Commission.
"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”" Matt 28:18-20
Riverwood's Rkids Ministry wants to listen to that command. "Go and make disciples" That means KMW is a time of purposeful discipleship. It is a time of creating memories that will far outlast the words that are spoken. Kids Ministry Week is all about discipling children and showing them what it means to truly be a disciple of our God.
