Riverwood Kids

We all know the joy of inquisitive little minds and busy hands and truly believe that children are a gift from God. We also recognize that raising children is a challenging task, and we want to support you. We strive to provide a safe and secure environment with caring volunteers who have been through an application and screening process. Our ushers are always available and willing to help you locate the correct room and group for your child.


Weekly Programs

Children's Church | 4yr - 3rd grade

Our team of Children's Church volunteers engage kids in fun and meaningful ways while parents enjoy the sermon. Kids learn Bible stories, have snacks and make crafts. They'll be taking home crafts, along with all sorts of stories to share with you about the Bible story that was talked about in class that day.


Nursery | Newborn - 3yrs

The nursery at Riverwood is a safe and fun place to let your littlest ones run around while being watched by a team of skilled childcare workers. We also have a separate room available for newborns and their mothers


Wednesday Night | 4yr - 5th

Wednesday Night Kids is our weekly kids program. It meets every Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Each week, we review our Awana content from the previous week and talk about this week’s lessons and verses.

Your First Visit

Here's what to expect when visiting for the first time.


First, welcome to Riverwood! We're glad you decided to join us! As you walk in the doors you will see a check in counter with an adult that will help point you in the right direction. They will also be able to register your child into our check-in system.


Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for some personal information so we can add your child into our system. (NOTE: We value your family's privacy and will never share this information with anyone)

At Riverwood, we prioritize your child's safety. In order to help us, we utilize a check-in and check-out program. If you will be visiting Riverwood soon, feel free to fill out this form so we can have your information ready for check-in. Don't want to fill this out on our website? No problem! We will gladly register your child at our welcome center.
